Energy Suspension 84-02 Chevy Camaro / 84-04 Pontiac Firebird/Trans AM Black Torque Arm Bushing

This product is a black torque arm bushing made from Energy Suspension's Hyper-Flex performance polyurethane. It's designed to replace the stock rubber bushing that connects your transmission to the differential on your 1984-2002 Pontiac Firebird or 1984-1999 Chevrolet Camaro. This bushing is a key component for improving how your car handles during acceleration and braking.

When you put more power down, especially with upgraded tires or engine modifications, the stock rubber bushing can flex too much. This flexing leads to wheel hop when you accelerate hard and can cause a shudder when you brake. This polyurethane bushing is firmer than rubber, which helps control that movement. It acts somewhat like a traction bar by stiffening up the connection between the transmission and the rear differential, leading to more predictable handling and a more solid feel.

You'll need to reuse all the original metal hardware from your old torque arm mount when installing this bushing. Make sure the lips on the new bushing face away from the driveshaft during installation.
