This is an EPI Primary Clutch Spring, color-coded Maroon, designed for specific Polaris Ranger and RZR models from 2016 and newer. Its main job is to help you dial in your ATV or UTV's clutch engagement point and the maximum RPM it can reach. This allows you to better match your vehicle's performance to how and where you ride, whether that's on trails, in mud, or for work.
EPI makes these springs with good materials and holds them to a very tight tolerance of just 5%, which is the lowest in the industry. This means you get a consistent and dependable spring that performs reliably every time. The spring has a load of 170 lbs at 1.25 inches, 35 lbs at 2.25 inches, and 1 lb at 2.5 inches, giving you specific engagement characteristics.
