This is the EPI Super-Duty CV Boot kit, designed to replace the worn-out boot on your 2017-2023 Honda TRX 420 Rancher or TRX 520 Rubicon. The CV boot is a critical part of your axle assembly; it keeps dirt and moisture out of the CV joint while holding in the lubricating grease. When it tears, that joint is exposed to the elements, leading to premature wear and eventual failure.
EPI uses a super tough polychloroprene material for these boots, which is built to handle extreme temperatures, both hot and cold, and general abuse. Inside the boot, you'll find molybdenum disulfide grease. This type of grease is known for its ability to handle high stress loads, which is exactly what a CV joint experiences during operation. This kit comes with everything you need for the replacement: one CV boot, the necessary clamps, and the specialized grease.
