Starting with a 1/4" thick steel skid plate and bracketry, this Fabtech Gen II Basic System is built for strength and reliability on your 2014-2018 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 or GMC Sierra 1500. This 6-inch lift kit is designed to keep your factory track width, which means your tires will stay tucked neatly under the fenders for a clean look. By maintaining the stock track width, the front sway bar works with its original end links and mounting points, ensuring proper leverage on the bar. You won't need CV spacers, impact struts, or add-a-leafs for the front installation with this system.

The Gen II system uses a straightforward upper coilover spacer to achieve the 6-inch lift, lifting from the top of the shock rather than the bottom. This design not only simplifies installation but also reduces the time it takes to get your truck lifted. The front differential is relocated to minimize vibrations, especially when driving at higher speeds in 4WD.
