If you're looking to give your 2014-2018 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 or GMC Sierra 1500 a significant lift while maintaining a clean look, this Fabtech 6-inch Basic System Gen II is a solid option. This kit is designed to provide 6 inches of lift, leveling out the factory nose-down rake and allowing for larger tires. A key feature is its retention of the factory track width, which keeps your tires tucked neatly under the fenders for a more integrated appearance. This also means the front sway bar works with its stock end links and mounting points, preserving proper leverage.

Fabtech has engineered this Gen II system to simplify installation and improve performance. Instead of using CV spacers or impact struts, it employs a straightforward upper coilover spacer to achieve the lift, which can reduce installation time. The front differential is relocated to minimize vibrations, especially at higher 4WD speeds. For the rear, you get Performance Twin Tube Stealth shocks. All the necessary bracketry and the skid plate are constructed from thick 1/4-inch steel, ensuring strength and reliability for off-road use. This system has also passed FMVSS 126 standards for stability control functionality.

This kit is designed to provide a level stance, but if you prefer a slight nose-down appearance, an optional add-a-leaf kit (Part #FTS212) is available separately.
