Fabtech 17 Ford F450/F550 4WD Diesel 6in Rad Arm Sys w/4.0 & 2.25Dl

Fabtech's 6-inch Radius Arm system is specifically built for the 2017 Ford F450 and F550 4WD Diesel models. This kit addresses the unique suspension needs of these heavy-duty trucks, which are built more robustly than the F250 and F350, requiring specialized components. The system centers on robust Radius Arms featuring tubular construction with dimple-die side plates for added strength. These arms include an adjustable alignment cam at the axle, allowing for precise caster adjustments during installation.

The kit incorporates a forged steel Dropped Pitman Arm, exceeding factory specifications for strength. To accommodate the increased ride height, 1/4-inch thick steel brackets are used to reposition the front sway bar, ensuring its link ends can cycle fully without binding. Brake line brackets are also included to relocate the factory lines, keeping the brake system intact and avoiding the need to open it. A steering stabilizer bracket retains the factory F450 or F550 long travel stabilizer, helping to reduce tire shimmy with a 1/4-inch thick steel bracket and support brace.

For the rear, steel lift blocks replace the factory units, providing additional lift without altering ride quality or load capacity. American-made U-bolts secure the rear differential. The front suspension is completed with a Trac Bar relocation bracket and a choice of 6-inch replacement coil springs. The massive Dirt Logic 4.0 Coilover shocks feature a 4-inch diameter stainless steel body and a 1.25-inch NitroSteel piston rod for excellent corrosion resistance and durability, even in aggressive driving conditions. The remote aluminum reservoir helps dissipate heat for consistent damping over rough terrain at high speeds. The rear Dirt Logic 2.25 Shocks also use a stainless steel body with a NitroSteel piston rod for similar corrosion resistance and durability.
