The system is a complete short-arm setup that uses your Jeep's factory lower control arm mounts, making installation straightforward. Fabtech's heavy-duty link arms are constructed from thick-wall steel tubing, measuring 1.75 inches in diameter with a .250-inch wall thickness, designed to resist bending. These arms feature large polyurethane bushings on one end and internal threads on the other, accepting Fabtech's 5 Ton Joint for improved longevity and a quiet operation. The corner-specific, long-travel dual-rate coil springs are engineered for the JL 4xe, keeping the vehicle level and allowing for increased suspension travel. The first stage of the spring offers a soft ride, while the second stage handles payload and absorbs larger impacts at higher speeds.

To properly address steering geometry with the increased ride height, this kit includes a Draglink Flip System and a heavy-duty Track Bar bracket. This setup repositions the steering geometry to the factory plane, preventing the draglink from binding during extreme articulation and extending the life of your steering box by avoiding increased side load. The rear suspension also gets a heavy-duty Track Bar bracket with side support to keep the axle centered and maintain the factory roll center. Front and rear bump stop extensions are included to protect the suspension from over-cycling.
