FAST Engine Control System XFI

The FAST XFI Sportsman Engine Control System uses a bank-to-bank, fully software-tunable EFI setup, designed for muscle car, late model street, and sportsman drag racing engines. It also handles boosted applications and individual runner throttle body setups. This system is built to be configured using the FAST C-COM software, which is included along with the necessary USB connectivity cable, allowing you to tune your engine from a laptop. A version is available that includes a 4150-style, eight-injector, 1200-horsepower-capable throttle body, making it a straightforward upgrade for carbureted systems.

For fueling strategies, you can choose between load-indexed Speed Density, which most users will opt for, or an Alpha-N option specifically for sportsman drag racers seeking absolute consistency. The system includes full tables for monitoring fueling, acceleration fuel, timing, and air/fuel targets, along with comprehensive data logging capabilities. It supports both naturally aspirated and boosted applications up to 5 BAR, and is compatible with wet nitrous systems, featuring nitrous timing retard control. The built-in CAN network support for components like the EZ-TCU, EZ-LS, and XIM allows for easy plug-and-play integration with the included CAN wire.

This XFI Sportsman system comes with a Bosch wide-band O2 sensor, built-in diagnostic LEDs, and a waterproof ECU enclosure. It also includes a premium, mesh-type wire loom multi-port harness. It works with both return-style and returnless fuel systems, is designed for high-impedance injectors, and is compatible with various multi-port systems or either generation of the FAST EZ-EFI throttle body. Configuration options extend to FAST distributors, FAST crank triggers, EZ-LS, XIM, or the RPM/tach signal from aftermarket CD ignition boxes, HEI big cap distributors, or the included tach adapter. A user-configurable auxiliary input channel is also part of the package.
