FAST Ignition Controller Domestic 4/6/8 & VW/Bosch (XR-700 Points Conversion)

This kit gives you the FAST optical trigger and the XR-700 Ignition Module, designed to replace the breaker points in your distributor. It's a more affordable and better-performing alternative to many factory points and electronic module systems, including those from Hitachi, Nippondenso, Bosch, and Lucas. The optical trigger bolts right into the distributor where the points used to be, and then it triggers the compact XR-700 module.

This updated ignition system works with 12-volt systems and can even handle positive ground setups. You'll see improved spark output, with up to 400 primary volts and about 60mJ of spark energy. This means your engine should rev quicker and pull more strongly through the gears.

It's specifically noted to replace points in Bosch/VW 009 Distributors, as well as for domestic 4, 6, and 8 cylinder engines. This is a solid option if you're looking to get away from finicky points and want a more reliable spark.
