This replacement magnet kit from FAST is designed to accurately measure your driveshaft speed, which is crucial for providing better data to your vehicle's traction control unit. The kit includes two magnets that attach to a collar around the pinion yoke. As these magnets pass by the sensor pickup, they send a signal that allows the XFI unit to calculate both driveshaft RPM and acceleration. This offers a much more precise reading than trying to estimate driveshaft speed based on engine RPM alone.
This setup is particularly useful for drag racing applications, as it also provides an accurate MPH reading. If you input your tire size into the XFI system, it can even calculate your miles per gallon. This kit is specifically a replacement for the magnets used in FAST's 301436 and 301437 Driveshaft Speed Sensor Kits.
