Inside, these wires feature a unique reactive core that's really good at suppressing the electro-magnetic interference, or EMI, that can mess with your ignition control, EFI, and other electronics. From a performance standpoint, the conductor has a very low resistance, less than 25 ohms per foot. This means more spark energy gets to the plug gap for a stronger spark. To protect against the harsh conditions under the hood, like header heat, oil, and abrasion, the core and conductor are wrapped in a double-layered pure silicone sleeve. Plus, the silicone boots are built to handle temperatures up to 550°F.
