Inside the housing, you'll find a 6-amp ignition module and a coil wound to produce over 50,000 volts, which helps deliver a strong spark for better combustion. It also includes a heat-treated steel gear that's designed to work well with common camshaft materials, making it a solid option for many builds.

Beyond being a direct fit, this distributor offers tuning flexibility. It comes with lightweight advance springs and an adjustable vacuum advance unit. These allow you to fine-tune the ignition timing for improved throttle response and power, especially if you're looking to get the most out of your engine. The updated module and coil are capable of clean firing up to 8500 RPM, ensuring consistent spark even at higher engine speeds.
