Fel-Pro 1008 Steel core laminate Engine Cylinder Head Gasket

If you're rebuilding the top end of a performance V8 engine, getting a solid seal on your cylinder heads is critical. This Fel-Pro 1008 head gasket is built with a steel core laminate and features a wire ring design that puts extra sealing pressure right around the combustion chamber. This is especially important for engines that see higher cylinder pressures, like those found in performance applications.

Fel-Pro designed these gaskets with the repair environment in mind, meaning they can handle imperfect sealing surfaces. The steel wire rings are there to provide the greatest combustion seal strength, raising sealing force to about three times that of a standard gasket.
