Fel-Pro 1133 SD-5 Severe Duty Engine Cylinder Head Gasket

Fel-Pro is known for making gaskets that work well in real-world repair situations, even on tough engines. This 1133 SD-5 Severe Duty head gasket is built for Ford V8 Small Block engines like the 260, 289, 302 (excluding Boss), and 351W. It’s designed to handle the extra stress and movement that can happen in performance applications.

This gasket uses a multi-layer steel (MLS) construction, which is Fel-Pro's latest technology for their Performance line. It has sealing beads placed strategically around the combustion chambers and coolant passages. These beads help concentrate the clamping force right where it's needed most, preventing leaks even when the cylinder heads experience significant scrubbing and movement, common in engines with different materials like aluminum heads on cast iron blocks. This gasket is specifically made to handle high cylinder pressures.
