Product Details
If you're building a high-performance Big Block Chevy, Chrysler, or Ford engine, you're probably looking at ways to improve airflow and reduce valvetrain weight. This Ferrea competition intake valve is designed for just that purpose. It features a 2.375-inch head diameter and a 6.605-inch overall length, with a 5/16-inch stem diameter. The valve tip measures 0.29 inches.
This valve is made from titanium, which is significantly lighter than traditional steel valves. Reducing the weight of the intake valve helps the valvetrain respond more quickly to camshaft commands, especially at higher RPMs. This can lead to improved engine performance and reliability under demanding conditions. This particular valve is for the intake side only and is sold individually.
