This Fidanza flywheel is built for your 1986-1992 Chevrolet Camaro V8, 1986-1992 Pontiac Firebird V8, or 1986-1988 Chevrolet Corvette with a 350 engine. You get the flywheel itself, which is made from a billet 6061 T6 or 2024 T4 aluminum body. It also includes a heat-treated friction plate for better grip and a hardened 1050 steel ring gear that can be replaced if needed. The package also contains military-spec fasteners, known for their reliability.

This aluminum flywheel is significantly lighter than the original, typically 40-60 percent less weight. This reduction in mass, or lower MOI (moment of inertia), means the engine can rev up more quickly, leading to faster acceleration and a more responsive feel when you hit the gas. The friction plate is also designed to be replaced, which is a practical feature for long-term use.
