In this kit, you get a lightweight aluminum flywheel designed for your 1999-2001 or 2003 Hyundai Tiburon with the 2.7L engine. This part replaces your stock flywheel, which is typically much heavier. By reducing the rotational mass at the end of your engine, this flywheel allows the engine to spin up more quickly. This means you'll notice a snappier throttle response and improved acceleration, especially when launching from a stop or exiting slower corners.

The body of this flywheel is made from billet 6061 T6 or 2024 T4 aluminum, making it significantly lighter than the original part – often 40-60 percent lighter. This lower inertia helps the engine change RPMs faster. For durability and consistent grip, it features a heat-treated friction plate. The ring gear is made of hardened 1050 steel and can be replaced if needed, and it uses military-spec fasteners for reliability.
