The FMF Racing SS 4.1 RCT muffler is built using aerospace-grade titanium, a material chosen for its strength and light weight. This muffler is designed to fit a range of KTM and Husqvarna models, including the KTM 250/350/450 SX-F and XC-F, as well as the Husqvarna FX250/450/501. It incorporates FMF's Resonance Chamber Technology, both internally and externally, to help manage exhaust pulses and improve power delivery across the entire RPM range.

A key design element is its shorter overall length, which not only makes it less prone to damage from impacts but also works with FMF's Factory Forward Engineering. This means the muffler is positioned closer to the motor, helping to centralize mass and improve the bike's handling characteristics. The blue anodized titanium body is capped with a carbon fiber end cap, adding a touch of style and further reducing weight. This muffler is manufactured entirely at FMF's Southern California facility, ensuring strict quality control over the materials and assembly process.
