Product Details
This Ford Racing Lotus engine block is a new grey iron casting, built to be stronger than the original and ready to accept a Lotus cylinder head. It's designed for competition use only and should not be installed on vehicles driven on public roads and highways, as this may violate emissions laws.
The block features a standard 7.800-inch deck height with extra material for decking to your specific needs. It includes installed cam bearings and accepts upper and lower crankshaft thrust bearing inserts. The cylinder bores are semi-finished at 3.228-3.226 inches, and select areas around the main bearing webs have been strengthened. Additionally, the lower clutch housing bolt bosses are reinforced for added durability in demanding applications.
This block is made from 40000 PSI grey iron and has a lifter bore diameter of 0.5155-0.5145 inches. Please note that this part is not CARB approved and cannot be shipped to California.
