This Ford Racing A/C Eliminator Kit is designed to remove the air conditioning compressor from your 1985-1993 Ford Mustang. You get a two-piece bracket that moves the power steering pump to the AC compressor's location, along with the necessary bracket conversion kit to get rid of the AC compressor itself. Removing the AC system helps shed unwanted weight from the front of your vehicle, which can improve rear weight transfer and potentially lower your elapsed times on the track.
The kit includes the brackets and hardware needed for installation, making it an easy way to lighten up your Mustang for racing applications. Keep in mind that you will need to purchase a new, shorter belt separately, as the original belt will no longer fit after the AC compressor is removed. This kit is intended for racing use and is not CARB approved, so it cannot be shipped to California.
