The foundation of this long block is a lightweight aluminum cylinder block. It utilizes a plasma transferred wire arc spray liner coating for durability and features cross-bolted main bearing caps along with thick main bearing bulkheads to ensure bottom-end strength. The design also includes optimized oil drainback and windage control, which are crucial for maintaining performance at high RPMs. This assembly comes with a forged steel crankshaft and longer, 12 mm head bolts for increased clamping load, contributing to its overall solid construction.

Please note that this long block assembly does not include several key components. You will need to source your own intake manifold, throttle bodies, hypereutectic aluminum pistons, sintered steel connecting rods, 9.5 qt capacity steel oil pan, fuel rails, fuel injectors, flywheel/flex plate, water pump pulley, exhaust manifolds, engine wiring, PCM, and alternator. This is a bare long block designed for builders who want to customize their setup or reuse existing components.
