At just 106 pounds, it's nearly 90 pounds lighter than an iron BOSS 351 block, making installation and handling much easier. For added strength where it counts, it features splayed 4-bolt main caps on the #2, #3, and #4 main journals, with 2-bolt mains on the #1 and #5 journals. The block is also designed to work with conventional Windsor components, meaning you can use standard timing chains, timing chain covers, oil pans, and oil pumps, simplifying your build process.

With a bore size of 4.110-4.115 inches as delivered and provisions for cast iron sleeves up to 4.125 inches, it offers flexibility for your desired displacement. The main bearing bores are finished to 2.75 inches, and the lifter bores are precisely sized for standard components. This block supports a maximum crankshaft stroke of 4.000 inches, giving you room for a healthy build. It's important to note that this block is not CARB approved and cannot be shipped to California.
