Every Aluminator XS engine is hand-assembled by the same technicians who build Ford's Mustang Cobra Jet drag racing engines. It features unique, durable components like Manley connecting rods with ARP rod bolts and Mahle forged pistons. You'll also find Cobra Jet-specific parts such as the short runner-high RPM intake manifold, a dual 65mm throttle body, and a competition high RPM pulse ring. The fully CNC-ported GT350 cylinder heads, unique camshafts, and the Cobra Jet intake manifold work together to create a balanced powerband with strong mid-range torque and high-end horsepower.

This engine is designed for installation in project cars and street rods, utilizing the same engine mount bosses and bell housing pattern as the 4.6L modular engines. It includes a 200-amp alternator and a Front Engine Accessory Drive (FEAD) kit from the Cobra Jet race car, along with a Ford Performance oil filter. Please note that a Ford Performance Control Pack (sold separately) is required for wiring, PCM, and installation, with custom calibration needed for either the manual or automatic transmission versions.
