This Ford Racing 572 cubic inch crate engine is built around the robust 385 Series Big Block platform, offering a substantial 655 horsepower and 710 lbs.-ft. of torque right out of the box. It’s designed to provide impressive power with excellent street drivability, making it a solid choice for a wide range of performance applications.

Under the hood, this engine is packed with well-built components. It features a SCAT forged steel crankshaft and SCAT forged steel H-beam connecting rods, paired with Diamond Racing pistons and floating wrist pins for durability. The camshaft is a hydraulic roller with a 0.649-inch lift, and the cylinder heads are Ford Performance Super Cobra Jet aluminum units with large stainless steel valves. The 10.0:1 compression ratio means it runs best on premium unleaded fuel. It also includes a Crower stainless steel roller rocker setup, a Ford Performance timing chain set, a heavy-duty aluminum Jon Kaase oil pump, and a Ford Performance SFI-approved vibration damper. The front sump oil pan is designed for easier installation in many chassis.

This complete package comes with an Edelbrock Victor 2966 intake manifold, a Holley Street Avenger 870 cfm carburetor, an MSD distributor, an Edelbrock high-performance water pump, and Ford Performance blue 9mm spark plug wires.
