Ford Racing offers these roller camshaft bearings for your 351 Ford engine. These are an ultra-low-friction needle roller type designed to significantly reduce friction within your engine. Because they require so little lubrication, you can actually block off the stock cam oiling holes, as normal crankcase splash is sufficient for oiling. This setup helps reduce oil aeration and windage losses, contributing to improved engine efficiency.
To use these bearings, your block will require machining, and you'll need an SAE 8620 steel camshaft. The set includes bearings with varying outer diameters (2.48 in. for 1-4, 2.28 in. for 5) and inner diameters (2.165 in. for 1-4, 1.969 in. for 5), each with a length of .787 in. This is a well-built set designed to drop friction and improve performance in your Ford engine.
