Ford Racing is known for performance parts that push the limits, and this cast iron Coyote engine block is no exception. If you're building a serious Coyote engine for your 2011-2017 Ford Mustang, especially one that will handle high horsepower or boost, this block is designed to be the foundation. It's a beefed-up version of the production Coyote block, made from a special grade of cast iron that Ford Racing developed for extra strength.

This block features a revised deck design that adds strength around the water jackets, which is crucial for managing heat and pressure in high-performance applications. It's set up to accept various cylinder heads, including Gen 1, Gen 2, and Gen 3 GT350 5.2L heads, as well as Gen 1 and Gen 2 Coyote 5.0L heads, giving you flexibility in your build. For even more robustness, it comes with billet steel 6-bolt main caps secured with ARP hardware, a common upgrade for engines seeing significant stress. The block is finished with a 92.2 mm bore, ready for pistons, and can accommodate a maximum stroke of 99 mm, allowing for displacements up to 5.6 liters. It also uses the standard 100 mm bore spacing found on Coyote engines and accepts 12 mm head bolts.
