Ford Racing is known for bringing performance-focused parts directly from their racing programs to enthusiasts. This Duratec 3.3L V6 naturally aspirated crate engine is a prime example, pulled directly from the Ford Explorer Police Interceptor. If you're looking to build a front-engine, rear-drive vehicle with a solid V6 foundation, this is a serious option.

This engine is configured for front-engine, rear-drive setups and features dual overhead cams with variable valve timing for improved efficiency and power delivery. It offers a strong 265 lbs./ft. of torque at 4000 RPM and produces 290 horsepower at 6500 RPM, thanks to its 12:1 compression ratio. The bore is 90.41mm and the stroke is 86.7mm. It weighs in at 355 lbs. without fluids and comes with an included alternator to simplify installation.
