Ford Racing Gen 4 5.0L Coyote NA Crate Engine (No Cancel No Returns)

If you're looking to build a high-performance street rod or upgrade your track car, the Ford Racing Gen 4 5.0L Coyote NA Crate Engine is a serious contender. This naturally aspirated powerhouse is based on the Gen 4 Mustang GT 5.0L Coyote engine, but Ford Performance has taken it a step further with internal components designed for higher output. It's built to be a direct bolt-in for the 2024 Mustang GT, making the swap into compatible vehicles much more straightforward.

Inside this engine, you'll find Mahle 12.0:1 compression ratio forged pistons. These pistons are hard anodized for durability and feature a Grafal low friction coating to help reduce wear and improve efficiency. Connecting the pistons to the crankshaft are premium Manley H-beam connecting rods, which are secured with ARP 2000 bolts, known for their strength and reliability under stress. The engine also features a forged steel crankshaft and a tuned composite GT intake manifold with production dual drive-by-wire 80 mm throttle bodies that include variable runner control for improved airflow across the RPM range. The aluminum heads are a 4-valve-per-cylinder design with roller-finger followers to minimize friction.

This crate engine comes complete with spark plugs, an oil filter, oil pump gears, camshafts, the crankshaft, and an oil pan. It uses the production 2024 Mustang GT aluminum block and has mount bosses and a bell housing pattern that are common to 4.6L modular engines, which can simplify installation in certain custom builds. Please note that this engine is not CARB approved and cannot be shipped to California. It also does not include exhaust manifolds, so you'll need to source those separately.
