If you're building a high-performance street rod, restomod, or custom project and need a modern, powerful V8, this Ford Racing Gen 4X 5.0L Coyote crate engine is a solid choice. This all-aluminum engine is designed to give you a significant power upgrade, churning out 460 horsepower and 420 lb.-ft. of torque when fed premium fuel. It features advanced technology like direct and port fuel injection, twin independent variable camshaft timing (Ti-VCT), and high-flow aluminum cylinder heads, all contributing to its impressive output and efficiency.

Ford Racing built this engine for strength and reliability. The aluminum cylinder block uses plasma transferred arc spray in the liners for durability, and it's reinforced with cross-bolted main bearing caps and thick main bearing bulkheads. For easier installation in a variety of projects, it includes a single 80mm throttle body. You also get a 9.5-quart oil pan, longer head bolts, a wiring harness, a flexplate, and a right-side tubular exhaust manifold specifically designed for this engine package.

This Gen 4X Coyote engine uses sintered steel connecting rods, similar to those found in the Boss 302 Mustang, for added robustness. The engine mount bosses and bell housing pattern are compatible with common 5.0L modular Ford engines, simplifying integration into many custom builds.
