Ford Racing Super Cobra Jet Cylinder Head Assembled with Dual Springs W/Damper

When you're looking to get the most out of your Ford 429 engine, these Ford Racing Super Cobra Jet cylinder heads are a serious upgrade. Developed in partnership with Jon Kaase, these heads take the already potent Cobra Jet design and refine it further. You're getting a fully assembled cylinder head, complete with dual springs and a damper, ready to bolt on and make power.

The key improvements here are in the airflow and combustion efficiency. The engineers revised the valve angles and their locations to reduce shrouding, which means the air can get into and out of the cylinders more freely. They also redesigned the combustion chambers to better suit these new valve positions, leading to a more complete burn. These heads use the same valves, springs, retainers, and 7/16 inch stud-mounted roller rockers found in the current Ford Racing 429 Cobra Jet heads, and standard Cobra Jet intake and exhaust manifolds will fit without issue. This updated design is capable of adding between 25 to 50 horsepower over the standard Cobra Jet heads, depending on your engine's displacement and camshaft choice.

Because these are a performance-oriented component, it's important to note that they are not CARB approved and cannot be shipped to California. For builders outside of California looking for a substantial power increase, these Super Cobra Jet heads offer a well-built solution with a proven lineage.
