Starting with redesigned combustion chambers that accommodate more centrally located valves, these Ford Racing Super Cobra Jet cylinder heads are a significant step up from the standard Cobra Jet design. Ford Racing partnered with Jon Kaase to bring these updated heads to life, focusing on improving airflow and reducing cylinder wall shrouding. This was achieved through revised valve angles and locations, which work together to let your engine breathe more freely.

These bare heads are built to work with the same valves, valve springs, retainers, and 7/16 in. stud-mounted roller rockers found in current Ford Racing 429 Cobra Jet heads, making integration into your existing build straightforward. You can also use the standard Cobra Jet intake and exhaust manifolds, simplifying the installation process. Depending on your engine's displacement and camshaft choice, you can expect a notable 25-50 horsepower increase over the current Cobra Jet heads, making these a powerful option for serious engine builds.

Keep in mind that these cylinder heads are not CARB approved and cannot be shipped to California. They are sold as bare heads, meaning you'll need to source the necessary valvetrain components separately to complete the assembly.
