Ford Racing X2347D Street Cruiser Dressed Crate Engine w/X2 Heads Rear Sump (No Cancel No Returns)

The Ford Racing X2347D crate engine starts with a BOSS 302 block, bored .030 inches over, and fitted with Mahle forged pistons. This 347 cubic inch powerhouse is built with a SCAT forged steel crankshaft and I-beam connecting rods, featuring ARP rod bolts and full floating pins, all assembled by hand with new parts. This engine is specifically tuned for street cruising, utilizing a perfectly matched combination of camshaft, cylinder head, intake manifold, and carburetor that runs reliably on pump gas. The camshaft's fast opening ramps are designed to maintain high port velocity, allowing the engine to idle happily at 800 RPM while producing 19 inches of vacuum. This translates to responsive acceleration at lower engine speeds and strong power delivery up to 6,000 RPM.

Topping this engine are the new Ford Performance aluminum X2 heads, which contribute to its street-tuned performance. The package is completed with an Edelbrock Performer RPM Air-Gap intake manifold and a Holley Street Avenger carburetor. A MSD Billet Distributor and Ford Racing spark plug wires are also included, making this a complete intake and distributor package developed and tested by Ford Performance Engineers. This engine is a great carbureted replacement option for vintage muscle cars, late model projects, trucks, or street rods.
