The Z2 cylinder heads on this Ford Racing 363 cubic inch crate engine feature integrated Velocity Vanes. This design choice helps direct airflow more efficiently into the combustion chamber, contributing to the engine's impressive 507 horsepower output on pump gas, all within the footprint of a traditional 302 small block Ford.

Built on a 302-based small block Ford platform, this engine boasts a 4.125-inch bore and a 3.400-inch stroke, giving it a displacement of 363 cubic inches. It's equipped with a hydraulic roller camshaft featuring .580 inches of lift on the intake and .602 inches on the exhaust, with duration at .050 lift measuring 232 degrees for the intake and 240 degrees for the exhaust. The compression ratio is a nominal 10.2:1, making it suitable for pump gas. Roller rocker arms with a 1.65:1 ratio are also included, working with the 2.05-inch intake and 1.60-inch exhaust valves to optimize breathing. This engine comes with a Ford Performance SFI-approved vibration damper and uses standard SBF headers and accessory mounts, simplifying installation.

This crate engine is configured with a rear sump oil pan. Please note that this engine is not CARB approved and cannot be shipped to California. It is also subject to California's Proposition 65 warning.
