The 2.5-inch impact-extruded 6061-T6 aluminum body on this Fox Performance Series shock is built tough. This shock is designed to handle the demands of a 4-6 inch lift on your 2011-2019 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 HD or 3500 HD, or its GMC Sierra counterpart. It uses race-proven damping technology to give you a more comfortable ride on the street while still providing predictable handling when you head off-road.

Inside, you'll find a high-flow, velocity-sensitive damping system that adjusts to terrain changes automatically. The internal floating piston (IFP) separates the shock oil from the nitrogen gas, preventing aeration and maintaining consistent performance. Plus, the Hydraulic Top Out (HTO) piston helps cushion the suspension at full extension, preventing harsh bottoming out. The 5/8-inch hard chrome shaft is corrosion resistant, and the entire unit is fully rebuildable and re-tunable, so you can adapt it to your specific needs or refresh it for continued performance.
