The shock body is made from aluminum, which helps dissipate heat more effectively than steel, especially important when you're working the suspension hard. Inside, an IFP (Internal Floating Piston) separates the oil from the high-pressure nitrogen gas, which helps maintain consistent damping performance. The black anodized CNC-machined aluminum components are well-made and contribute to the shock's overall durability and heat management. This shock is designed to work with vehicles that have a 2.5 to 4-inch lift, and it includes an aluminum reservoir clamp.
