Inside, a chrome-plated heat-treated alloy steel shaft works with the custom-valved Fox Racing Oil to provide consistent performance. The external bypass design, with its three tubes (two for compression and one for rebound), allows for fine-tuning of the damping characteristics. This means you can adjust how the suspension reacts to bumps and impacts, giving you more control over rough terrain. All the aluminum components are black anodized and CNC machined for a solid build.

This shock is rebuildable and serviceable, meaning you can maintain it for long-term performance. While this specific unit is set up with a 2 Comp/1 Reb valving, custom valving options are available if you have very specific needs for your setup. It's designed to be a direct fit for applications requiring an 18-inch stroke bypass shock with a 7/8-inch shaft.
