These shocks feature a 2.5-inch diameter body made from impact-extruded 6061-T6 aluminum, which is Type II clear-anodized for corrosion resistance. Inside, they use a high-flow, velocity-sensitive damping system that's tuned specifically for your Ram truck. The internal floating piston (IFP) design helps separate the oil and gas, reducing aeration and maintaining consistent performance. Plus, the Hydraulic Top Out (HTO) piston helps prevent harsh bottoming out on compression.
