This shock features an aluminum body that helps dissipate heat faster than steel, which is important for maintaining consistent damping performance, especially during extended use. The external reservoir system also plays a key role in cooling, keeping the FOX Racing Oil at optimal temperatures. Inside, the IFP (Internal Floating Piston) separates the oil from the high-pressure nitrogen gas, preventing aeration and ensuring smooth operation. The large, heavy-duty hard chrome 5/8 inch shaft is built to handle the demands of a truck.

This shock is designed to work with 4 to 6 inches of lift on your Ram. It includes an aluminum reservoir clamp to secure the external reservoir.
