This is the Fox Performance Series 2.0 smooth body rear shock, designed specifically for your 1984-2001 Jeep Cherokee. It's built to give you a more comfortable ride on the street while also providing predictable control when you're tackling rough terrain off-road. The application-specific valving means it's tuned right out of the box for your Jeep's suspension.

The aluminum body helps dissipate heat faster than steel, which is important for maintaining consistent performance, especially during hard use. You can fine-tune the ride with 8 clicks of adjustment using the external reservoir's compression adjuster, letting you dial in the feel for different conditions. It uses Teflon-lined, heat-treated spherical bearings for smooth operation and durability, and the redundant sealing system helps ensure a long service life. Because it's a 2.0 Performance Series shock, it's also designed to be serviceable and tunable, so you can keep it performing its best for a long time.

This shock is intended for use with 2.5 to 3.5 inches of lift on the rear of your Jeep Cherokee. It includes an aluminum reservoir clamp to secure the external reservoir.
