FOX Racing Oil is used inside these shocks, developed to offer peak performance. The internal Floating Piston (IFP) design keeps the oil and high-pressure nitrogen gas separate, preventing aeration and ensuring consistent damping. The aluminum body helps dissipate heat more effectively than steel, which is crucial for maintaining performance during extended use. A large, heavy-duty 5/8-inch hard chrome shaft adds to the durability. The external reservoir system further aids in heat dissipation, keeping the shock working optimally. Black anodized CNC machined aluminum components are used throughout, and the included aluminum reservoir clamp secures the remote reservoir.
