The 17-4 H900 hard chrome plated stainless steel shaft on this Fox Factory Race 2.5 X 18 External Bypass shock is built to handle the extreme demands of off-road racing. This shock features a proprietary JM92 MIL-SPEC oil, specifically developed for the rigors of off-road racing, ensuring reliable performance under high stress. The components are CNC machined from aluminum and finished with a black anodized coating for durability and a clean look, while the entire assembly is protected by a new proprietary Cerakote ceramic coating over a zinc plated basecoat, offering robust resistance to the elements.
