This shock features a robust construction with a 17-4 H900 hard chrome plated stainless steel shaft for durability. The components are CNC machined from aluminum and finished with a black anodizing. A key feature is the proprietary Cerakote protective ceramic coating over a zinc-plated basecoat, which adds a tough layer of defense against the elements and impacts common in off-road environments. Inside, it uses JM92 MIL-SPEC oil, specifically developed for the rigors of off-road racing, ensuring reliable damping performance even under extreme conditions. Because it's owner serviceable and rebuildable, you can maintain its performance over time.
