Product Details
This Gibson cat-back exhaust system is made for your 2001-2003 Ford Escape XLS with the 3.0L engine. It's designed to exit behind the rear tire with a single polished stainless steel slash-cut tip. This system aims to improve your Escape's acceleration, hill climbing, and passing power, especially at lower RPMs, with dyno tests showing an average gain of 10-15 horsepower and 15-20 lb-ft of torque.
The tubing is made from aluminized steel and is mandrel-bent for consistent diameter, which helps the Superflow™ muffler work efficiently. Gibson designed this system to be quieter inside the cab compared to other performance exhaust systems. Installation is straightforward, as it uses factory-style hangers and includes all necessary hardware, meaning no welding is required for a professional-looking result.
