This Gibson cat-back exhaust system is designed for your 1996-1999 Chevrolet Astro LS with the 4.3L engine. What you get in the box is a complete bolt-on system, including all the necessary hardware and factory-style hangers for an easier installation. It exits behind the rear tire with a polished stainless steel slash-cut tip, giving your Astro a more aggressive look and sound without excessive noise inside the cab.

Gibson built this system using stainless steel mandrel-bent tubing for smooth exhaust flow and durability. The Superflow™ muffler is baffled and chambered, designed to provide a more aggressive exterior sound while minimizing interior drone. Dyno tests show this system makes its best torque and horsepower gains between 1800 and 3000 RPM, which is ideal for improving acceleration, hill climbing, and towing power. Expect an average increase of 10-15 horsepower and 15-20 lb-ft of torque.
