OE quality TPE boot kits from GKN Automotive, the global leader in drive systems. The most frequent causes of joint failures include torn, slipped and porous boots. Therefore, in the case of damage be sure to pay attention to exact fit of the replacement boot. Boots that are specifically designed for the joint can protect reliably against damage. In addition to the fit, the right material is crucial: modern drivelines transmit extremely high torques, which contribute to the increased heat in the joint. Most joints are thus protected ex-works by TPE (thermoplastic elastomer) boots which can withstand up to 240° F.
