The low-friction PTFE inner core in this Goodridge brake line is key to its performance. It helps eliminate that spongy feeling you can get at the brake lever, especially when you're really leaning on the brakes, like during hard stops or on the track. This is because the PTFE is much smoother than rubber, allowing fluid to move more freely and consistently.

Goodridge wraps that inner core with stainless steel braiding, which gives the line its strength and resilience. This braided enclosure prevents the line from expanding under pressure, which is exactly what causes that mushy lever feel in stock rubber lines. The result is a much more direct and reliable connection between your lever and the caliper, giving you better control and confidence when you need it most. Each line is also 100 percent pressure tested to ensure it's ready to go right out of the box.
