The PTFE inner hose with a stainless steel outer braid in these Goodridge G-STOP brake lines are key to a firmer pedal feel. When you're pushing your 1997-2005 Lexus GS300, GS400, or GS430 hard, the factory rubber lines can expand, making your brake pedal feel soft and less responsive. These braided lines resist that expansion, giving you more consistent braking performance.
Replacing your stock rubber brake lines with stainless steel braided ones means you'll notice a more solid pedal feel, especially during demanding stops or when using your ABS system. This improved response can lead to shorter stopping distances and more reliable braking. Plus, the stainless steel construction offers better resistance to abrasion and corrosion than rubber, helping them last longer and look good under the hood.
This kit includes everything you need for installation: two front lines, two rear lines, adapters, banjo bolts, washers, and line locators. They are built to conform to all federal requirements and are D.O.T. compliant.
