The PTFE inner hose with a stainless steel outer braid in this Goodridge brake line kit is key to a firmer pedal feel. When you're pushing your 1996-1999 Monte Carlo hard, especially with rear disc brakes, factory rubber lines can expand. This kit replaces those with lines that don't flex, giving you more consistent braking response and shorter stopping distances.
Goodridge puts these lines through a 9-point quality assurance test, and they meet all federal requirements. The stainless steel outer braid resists abrasion and corrosion, so they'll hold up well and look good under the car.
