Meguiar's takes a different approach to headlight restoration — no sanding, no drill, just two steps. Their G2970 kit uses an abrasive cleaning pad paired with a cleaning compound to remove the oxidized layer, then a headlight coating goes on to protect against re-yellowing for up to 12 months.

Inside the kit you get two abrasive cleaning pads, cleaning compound, and headlight coating. The process is simple: apply compound with the abrasive pad to scrub off the haze, wipe clean, then coat the lens with the protective sealant. Since there is no power tool involved, the risk of accidentally sanding through the lens or damaging surrounding paint is much lower than with drill-based kits.

This is a solid option if you want a quick improvement without a big time commitment. It will not cut as aggressively as a multi-grit sanding system, so severely oxidized lenses with deep pitting may not come back to full clarity. But for moderate yellowing and hazing, it does the job and the included coating helps the results last.
