It's a padded steering wheel cover with built-in heating elements that plug into your 12V power outlet (cigarette lighter). Within 3 minutes, it's warm enough to grip comfortably. The cover fits most standard steering wheels (13.5 to 15 inches in diameter). Installation is straightforward — you stretch it over your existing steering wheel, zip or secure it in place, then plug the power cord into your 12V outlet. The heating element is built into the fabric, so it warms evenly across the grip area. Most models have high and low heat settings, controlled by a simple switch on the power cord. The heat isn't scorching — it warms to about 105°F on high, which is comfortable to hold without gloves. On low, it maintains around 95°F. The nice part is you can turn it on as soon as you start the car, and by the time you've scraped your windshield or checked your mirrors, the wheel is already warm. This is especially useful if you have leather or faux-leather steering wheels, which get ice-cold in winter. It's also helpful for anyone with arthritis or poor circulation in their hands — the warmth improves grip comfort on long winter drives. One thing to watch: the power cord is usually 5-6 feet long, which is fine for most cars. But if your 12V outlet is in the back seat or center console far from the wheel, you might need a 12V extension cable. Type S Heated Steering Wheel Cover
This is one of the better products I bought off Autobarn. I bought it for my wife's new car. I liked it so much that I bought one for me. they are a great addition to your car. It is very reliable in the morning. I would reccomend that people buy one for themselves. For the price it is a great addition for your car.
